1. Playa Dress-up All Week Long...!
Ecstatic Dance is encouraging you to dance in your Playa
Wear, in solidarity with our Burning brothers and sisters... Wednesday night, Sept. 2nd in Oakland, Saturday
night, Sept. 5th in the Castro and Sunday Morning, Sept. 6th in
Oakland. Face paint? Sure! Bootie shorts? Go for it...! Wings? They may get in the way...
Bring the Playa into the Ballroom (without the dust!)
2. Contact Improv, is led by Zacarias before every Wednesday night Dance in September @ Sweet's Ballroom. Check it out... 7pm - 8pm - free w/ dance
3. David Schlussel is back teaching Yoga every Sunday Morning in September from 9:30-10:30, free with dance, please bring a mat (or donate one) if you can.
4. East Bay Fall Scholarships are Announced: the Recipients are: Casie Casado, Emmitt Hancock, & Lubko. Congratulations, and enjoy the Dance! Winter Scholarship Applications will be available in November...

DJ Spotlight - Neptune
Neptune
(spiritual technologies, beat church SF) has been a professional dj for
24 years now. Not limited to any genre of music he plays for the group
consciousness in the moment, and is able to rock any style, for any
crowd anytime. Neptune has committed his life to using music to heal
and unify people in every way possible not limiting himself to any
particular group or style of music. He sees music as a powerful tool
for elevating human consciousness and is here for the long haul,
determined to take it all to the next level. You can also catch him on the
first and third Thursdays of each month for Beat Church at Shine (1337
Mission & 9th San Francisco) a bi monthly event he puts on with his
partner Kitty-D
