A lot has happened since the last newsletter. The decision has been made that HERO Makers will stay and work on the U.S. side of the border this January with ministries who serve children at risk.
Worried about the misconception of the "border area"? Reynosa is nowhere close to being as violent as Juarez, the city across the border from El Paso (12 hrs drive time to McAllen) , and likewise it is very safe in the Rio Grande Valley.
