Sunday, Spiritual Practice, followed by potluck dinner
April 20, 5:00pm

Our theme in April is sustainability. This includes our spiritual, physical, relational, and okay, holistic sustainability. There is not really any area of life that isn't included in our need for sustainability.

This week, we'll take a look at financial sustainability, based on financial health and wholeness, and the many challenges we face when trying to live into such a wholeness.

Potluck Dinner afterwards at 6:00
Entre, salad, bread provided by volunteers--bring sides or dessert to share.

We still need volunteers to bring the salad and the bread.

If you can do it, email Nanette at nsawyer (at) wickerparkgrace (dot) net, or give a call at 312-399-2081.

How Do I Love Thee? Let Me Count the Ways
This reflection by Nanette interprets an often "exclusivist" text in a different way. "No one gets to the Father except through me" was not originally meant to exclude anyone, but rather to draw Jesus's beloved disciples closer to him in a time of trauma. Read about it.

Nanette is "Blogging Toward Sunday" at the Christian Century blog for the next six weeks, so stay-tuned for more!
