Hello friends and family,

I just wanted to let everyone know that the non-profit I volunteer for, Interfaith House (www.interfaithhouse.org) is going to be on the Oprah show on Monday, March 24th as part of a mini Big Give event.  They came to our site Tuesday to do some filming, will be back on Friday to do a presentation and will have us on the show on Monday 24th.  Be sure to watch!

Also, those of you living in Chicago, a major piece of this project is going to be an event in Chicago this Thursday as part of the Big Give.  Trump International Hotel has donated their ballroom to hold an event on Thursday, March 13th from 6-8pm.  It costs $20 to come to the event.  Appetizers will be served and a cash bar will be available.  COME BE ON OPRAH!!!

Interfaith House provides housing and care for homeless adults who are discharged from area hospitals without a safe space to recover.  We provide the medical and psycho-social care necessary for them to make a complete recovery. Once healed medically and stabilized we find permanent housing for them and maintain relationships for one year to ensure they have the resources they need to maintain their housing and permanently end their cycle of homelessness.

This is a great time for Interfaith House and I am so grateful that our agency will be recognized for its amazing work.
