Wicker Park Grace will be on
National Public Radio--91.5 FM
9:00 am, Tuesday, March 11
"848" is the name of the show. We will be part of a six-minute story about faith communities in Chicago which are appealing to young adults.
The show is one-hour long, 9:00-10:00am, and we have no idea at what point in the show this piece will be featured.
It is likely that "All Things Considered" will also pick up the segment and run it sometime between 4:30-5:15pm.
We have no idea how good this segment will be, but the reporter, Monique Parsons, interviewed a number of people from Wicker Park Grace, and taped some of Matt and Rob's improvisational music at Jazz Vespers.
Monique said that Wicker Park Grace is "featured prominantly" in the piece, but that she wishes she could have included more of the wonderful words that some of you shared with her. She hopes the
"spirit" of Wicker Park Grace comes through.
By the end of the day, we should be able to find the digital version of the story
archived on the NPR website at
www.chicagopublicradio.org.
