Airporter Driving 'EVITA' Towards Success!
The Millennium Forum is delighted to announce that local company, Airporter, is driving the West End extravaganza, EVITA, towards success! Airporter has come on board as show sponsor for the theatrical event of the year at the Millennium Forum; Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's famous & inspiring musical, EVITA, which will storm the Forum's stage from 17th - 28th March. Bill Kenwright's Evita, which has been described as 'the theatrical event of the year!' brings to life the dynamic persona of Eva Peron. With more than twenty major awards to its credit including an Oscar winning film version, this brand new production is set to wow Derry audiences with its arrival in town.
Niall Mc Keever, Director of Airporter said:
"We are delighted to be associated with this magnificent production. Evita conjures up iconic images of Eva Peron and Che Geuvara and the Airporter team has got into the spirit of our association with the show to replicate these iconic images. Airporter driver Paddy Melaugh dressed as Paddy Geuvara and Lisa Spence dressed in her recent wedding dress as Lisa Peron. The two "volunteered" when we were looking at ideas to promote the show and if anything shows the staffs' commitment to our association with the Millennium Forum." Over the coming weeks Airporter will be offering a chance to win two tickets to the show and dinner for two via our emailing list, so anyone who wants to be in with a chance of winning should sign up to the list at www.airporter.co.uk"
Cara Mc Cartney, Sponsorship and Development Officer at the Millennium Forum commented: "This partnership demonstrates an excellent example of how a creative sponsorship with the Millennium Forum and a locally run family business can benefit everyone involved! The Millennium Forum is helping Airporter to raise awareness of its bus services by associating it with the vast regional wide media campaign which accompanies EVITA while offering Airporter customers added value via ticket competitions for EVITA. In return, Airporter is providing the Millennium Forum with branding for this high calibre show on the outside of all their buses which travel from Derry to Belfast Airports. We are delighted to be able to bring about an association with Airporter and Andrew Lloyd Webber's dynamic musical EVITA." EVITA in association with Airporter performs at the Millennium Forum from Tuesday 17th to Saturday 28th March. Opening night sold out! Tickets are available from Box Office.
