JOHN OLIVER SHARES PLANS FOR PSYCHIC CAMP 2010
 John J. Oliver is one of World's premier psychic intuitives. He has an extensive background in psychic police work, ghost investigations, and personal readings. John also recently starred in the cold case hit reality series on TRU TV- "Haunting Evidence". During John's childhood, he showed great promise of psychic skills and abilities. As early as age five, his talents came to fruition when he began seeing spirits of people who had "crossed-over". To most, the very idea of seeing an apparition would seem downright frightening, but it became a regular experience in life. He also was able to pick up distinct impressions from antiques and old furniture, with regard to their history and previous owners. He could sense energetic vibrations and auras, not only around people and animals, but objects as well.
In July of 2010, for the first time John will teach a powerful six day intensive course on developing and nurturing your own psychic powers. Never before has John revealed some of the deeper and more intimate processes that enable him to tap into his unconscious mind and interpret its messages.
We asked John to sit down and discuss his upcoming Psychic Camp and go into details about the curriculum.
What will students learn at your 4-day psychic camp?
John Oliver: Participants will learn techniques on how to turn within themselves to enhance the awakening of their psychic abilities. Turning within to develop a deeper awareness may sound really easy, but it's not. I'm going to take the natural urge of a human being to connect to a greater source of power within and enhance that journey, by teaching a proven process of techniques from my decades of experience.
How will these techniques enhance my psychic abilities?
We all have five physical senses. But there are also some inner senses that are subtler and are less developed, mainly because of our unconscious, day-to-day lifestyle. So we have to take a break from our habitual way of living and go deeper to be able to reach those dormant abilities. Once you have access to the subtle senses beyond the physical, then your real psychic journey into other realities can begin.
I see on the curriculum of the camp that we will dive right into deep trance states. What is a trance state? Am I going to leave my body or go unconscious?
JO: No, not at all. A Trance state means that you are learning how to focus your attention to a particular reality which already resides within you. Those realities are existing there all of the time, in the same way that a radio station's frequencies are playing all around us, all the time. But you can't hear them unless you have an instrument that is tuned to that particular frequency. The brain and the inner resources that everybody possesses are connecting to all of the possibilities of the universe, all of the time. And if you learn how to tune into those frequencies, then you will be able to have access to inner realities and dimensions that you may not have accessed so easily before.
What will I achieve by learning how to access these realities within me?
JO: Well if you can learn specific techniques to alter your brainwave states, you can have access to different parts of yourself, such as your subconscious. And if you learn how to manage those states even further, you can have access to your unconscious. And if you go even further, you could have access to a collective consciousness and eventually develop an awareness of super-consciousness. All of that is a matter of deeper development that increases your intuitive awareness and psychic awareness abilities.
On day two you will share your years of experience on developing and clearing my charkas. What exactly are chakras?
I propose that the physical body of a human being is the least important part of us. Though it is the part of ourselves that is experienced by the senses: sight, hearing, taste, touch and smell, but these are of the physical world. There is a subtle body within each of us that has major correspondences with our physical body. This subtle body is not relying on the physical body as much as the physical body is relying on it.
I don't quite understand what you mean.
Well let's take the DNA molecule for example. It has all of the information imprinted in it that creates the whole human being. The fact is we know less about how that DNA molecule creates a fingernail in one area of your body and then in another has the ability to grow a beating, human heart. All of the same information that is in your fingernail is in your heart. I propose that an energy field of our subtle body (the chakra system) creates the physical body.
What is a chakra?
Chakra is a term that comes from yoga for energy centers that are within the human body. Chakra literally means spinning wheel of light.
How many charkas do we possess within each of us?
Many. But there are seven main centers that begin as a dense chakra at our root (base of the spine) and end as a very subtle center at the crown (top of our head), and five more lay in between. The entire spiritual journey can be metaphorically described as the ascent of source energy through the charkas. We are rising, literally, as physical and spiritual beings from earth into heaven, through these energy centers. On day 2 you will learn how to work with these energy centers to manipulate the subtle body within you. That's what it means to have the realization of the body temple.
What do you mean that on Day 3 I will activate my spiritual fire?
The spiritual fire is the energy that is running through physical and the subtle body. If you activate it and have access to a greater source of energy then you will have more energy, not only to do physical work, but more expansive spiritual work as well.
Can you share an example how that works?
Many people, who are taken into a deep enough meditation, cannot stay awake. They fall asleep. That's because they're deficient in a particular type of energy that's required for staying awake and present. So cultivating that type of spiritual energy is very important, because in a sense you are charging your psychic batteries.
So the movement rites you teach will help me achieve this type of energy?
Yes. Specific transformational movement rites use the instrument of the physical body to provoke this powerful energy into awakening. This is done by placing your body into a particular posture or initiating a focused movement rite that directly enhances your attention and cultivates your awareness.
How will this enhance my psychic abilities?
All of this type of work will bring you to a greater awareness of another reality that most human beings are largely ignorant of or for the most part not paying attention to. Psychic means that you are making a penetrating connection to a soul or to the soul of the Universe. In order to be able to achieve this ability you have to find methods by which to access and enhance that connection. The advanced techniques I will teach will help you fine tune your whole instrument - your body, mind and spirit. Then access to your psychic abilities will most likely become an everyday habit for you.
Will we be actually speaking with spirits or ghosts?
You will be communicating with spirits at this camp. You will be experiencing trance sessions. Towards the end of the camp, you will have the opportunity to experience me as full body trance medium and speak to my spiritual teacher from the other side.
Can I learn to make contact with spirits on my own after my camp experience is finished?
Yes. You will learn very simple techniques that you can take home and try right away for making spiritual contact with the other side. Then you can gather your own evidence and information from spirits and other dimensions.
The fact of the matter is that spirits are everywhere, just like radio frequencies are everywhere. If you learn how to tune into them and access them, then you will make contact. It's just a matter of knowing how. That's what my psychic camp is all about.
