| The Momentum Continues!

This past summer has been a whirlwind of activity producing some spectacular results that I am thrilled to share with you. Top of the list is capital campaign progress; as of the end of September we have raised $2.1 million of our $3 million campaign target, moving us closer to opening the red doors at 10560 Wayzata Blvd.

| A Family's Cancer Journey

My wife, Jeffie, was the poster child for healthy living. At the time of her cancer diagnosis she was 42 years old, mother of twin daughters, a non-smoker and an accomplished athlete; skiing, running and tournament golf. It was ironic that after a pleasant round of golf and dinner with friends she complained of this pain she had been having in the middle of her chest radiating up her arm.

Libby comes to GCTC from the Leukemia & Lymphoma society where, as patient services manager, she oversaw all patient support and advocacy activities in Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota. A licensed social worker, Libby is experienced working in nonprofits, balancing multiple projects and creating programs that support the cancer community.
