| Greetings!
We've had some exciting changes in the office this past year as we continue our endeavor to go paperless and I'd like to tell you a little more about them.
The next time you need to update your medical history or if you are coming in as a new patient, you may now fill out all "paper work" on line. This should lessen the time spent in our waiting room. and improve the accuracy of the information.--that in addition to saving a few trees while you're at it! Soon, our consent forms will be done without paper as well. This paperless transition is made possible due to the transistion to our electronic medical record, which I introduced to the practice in 2009.
Several years ago, our ofice switched to e-newsletters as we endeavored to keep you informed without cluttering your mailbox. This has saved thousands of sheets of paper every year since 2007.
Our newest paperless innovation is going to be facebook relationships. By "liking" our page, you can avail yourself of facebook-only specials. Check back often to see what is new in the office, what the specials are and you'll also be able to read more about our current Featured Charity and see photos from my recent mission trips. See the article below for more information or click here to access a link to the page.
And I am going paperless at home as well. If you are interested in doing the same, you can check out some of the tools I've been using such as Evernote and my Fujitsu ScanSnap Scanner .I am enjyoing my freedom from paper and am happy to share with you how I am doing this. Sincerely, Michelle B. Vessely, MD |
