I feel blessed to be joining another mission trip to Africa in April. Our team includes Dr. Joe Clawson, whose foundation many of you have supported this quarter. He and I are returning to the Beit Cure Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia. We look forward to working with the same team that we met last year, seen in the photo below. This year, we will be accompanied by our own photographer and videographer, my oldest daughter! We hope to make a difference in the lives of many children with cleft defects on this trip.  We are

Women and girls in rural Zambian villages walk 6-8 hours each day to collect water for their families. They gather water from unclean sources (rivers and mudholes) and carry each full bucket home, only to return for another 40+ pound load.
