And the Mission is...
I am headed to Kenya in a matter of days for another cleft lip and palate medical mission trip. This time I am traveling with a group headed by facial plastic surgeon David Chang from the University of Missouri, my residency alma mater. We will be working in another C.U.R.E hospital, this time in Kijabe, Kenya. Kijabe is about a ninety minute drive out of Nairobi. I hope to have wifi access and will blog about the trip. Click here to follow the blog. I am delighted to report this is my third medical mission in three years where I have been able to be part of teams that have impacted several hundreds of people. The trip to Kenya is through World Medical Missions, the medical subsidiary of Samaritan's Purse. I'd like to thank those of you who have supported my medical mission work in the past. Greetings!
I have exciting news to share with you, lots of news. First, I am pleased to announce that I will be moving to a new but familiar office. That's right, I am moving my practice back to my previous office location at 6485 SW Borland Rd, Suite C, Tualatin OR, 97062. I will be using the previous phone number as well, 503-692-1190. And finally, I am thrilled to tell you that I am going to Kenya mid October for another medical mission trip to serve the cleft lip/palate population in Kenya. You all have been so supportive of my medical misson trips in the past, and I greatly appreciate it. I'll be returning to my new office and seeing patients on October 31st. I can't wait to share my stories with you at that time.
The fall season is upon us, and, as always, is a prime season for rejuvenation and preparation for the holidays. I encourage you to take advantage of the specials highlighted in this newsletter.

New and More Convenient Office Location
I have exciting news to share with you. I am pleased to announce that I will be moving to a new but familiar office location. I am moving my practice back to my previous location at 6485 SW Borland Rd, Suite C, Tualatin OR, 97062. I have listened as many of you have described the gridlocked traffic conditions and parking difficulties at the St. Vincent's location. By moving to the familiar locale in Tualatin, I have also dramatically shortened my commute. As a physician and mother, I appreciate the reduced travel time, which allows me more family time and more time to serve my patients. Both Sarah, my medical assistant for the past thirteen years, and I will continue to serve you with the same individualized attention in a more personal and private environment. This exciting move marks a new season for my family and my career. It is a joy to watch my two daughters move into new adventures as lovely middle schoolers. I am delighted to finally be fulfilling my dream of incorporating periodic medical mission trips into my schedule. I'm also seeing ENT patients at Lake Grove ENT, and I am so pleased to continue serving you with Laser and Aesthetic Medicine in this new, but familiar location. Please come celebrate with me in November. Parking will be a breeze! I can't wait to see you again at the new location, beginning October 31st!
