Surgery suite passes accreditation survey with flying colors
Even before it was required, Portland Laser & Surgery Center has maintained hospital level accreditation for our office surgery suite. In March we completed our most recent accreditation survey with the Oregon Medical Association and were awarded a 3 year accreditation - the highest level accreditation. The accreditation process is meant to assure patients that a surgery center truly upholds the highest standards of patient safety.
Our commitment to safety and high standards is something we are very proud of at Portland Laser & Surgery Center. We purposely chose to locate our clinic on the Providence St. Vincent's Medical Campus. While we still offer the comfort, privacy and affordability of in-office surgery, locating the office on a hospital campus provides a safety net of emergency services that are not immediately available at other locations. When deep sedation is required we utilize board certified anesthesiologists from the Oregon Anesthesia Group to monitor patients - the same group that provides services for most major hospitals in Portland. Your safety is our top priority. A big thank you to our staff who facilitated the tremendous amount of paperwork involved in this process.
