Greetings! Well, now I know what the racer's version of groundhog day is. Gorgeous weather tempting the car out of the garage early, only to be scared back in by an onslaught of snow! How many more weeks must I wait? I miss playing with my summer toy!
NSSCC's Indoor Race School is March 17th. Tell your family, friends, coworkers, or strangers on the street! This school is for everyone... there will be seperate clinics for racers, autocrossers, and staff. For more information visit their website or click the flyer to print some hand outs.
Congratulations to our new HSAX Director Tom Hille! He's got a lot of great ideas we're hoping to see implemented this year too. All Autocrossers should make sure to check the autocross forums to contribute to the discussions.
Racers, have your cars ready by March 31st for Annual Tech Day at Advanced Autosports. Physicians will also be there to administer race physicals for only $10!
The GCR is being updated for the 2012 season. It will be posted on the website once finished, so keep checking!

We all know companies we use for products and services. Please either contact them directly or forward contact information to lynnellynserra@att.net. Please do not use the Forum to advertise firms that are not willing to offer benefits to our ~800 members - contact Lynn directly outside the Forum.
MCSCC members should be prepared to show their current club membership card to be eligible for discounts. If we want to continue to get benefits from any of the firms listed, we must consistently support them.

Harlan Update
| |
Sentencing for Nancy Harlan was held Feb 9th. Chuck Cassaro and Dick Karth attended and gave victim impact statements. She was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment with no time off for good behavior or early release, and was immediately taken into custody. She is also ordered to pay restitution of $119K (which would not be vacated by bankruptcy) beginning immediately. MC was advised to pursue a civil judgement and is investigating the feasibility of pursuing one for whatever assets can be recouped.

P L E A S E H E L P!
Objective: Participate in an On-Line Survey Questionnaire for Academic Research Study
Women leadership and performance in motorsports (as competitors, crew, staff, and/or as mothers) have an opportunity to participate in academic research that will be used to update and expand sociological empirical literature regarding women as risk-takers in male-dominated sports. The Words of the Day
| |
... or When Ever I Get Around to Doing it again.
By Hal Adkins
I will from time to time look in my little Websters Vest Pocket Dictionary that incidentally I don't keep in my vest pocket because I don't even own a vest, and pick out an interesting word or words to toy with. The first word for today is: AFFRONT vb or n : insult. The opposite word would seem to be ARREARS n pl : state of being behind in paying debts. but oddly no. You would think the word ABUT vb : touch along a border, might have a similar meaning to arrears because they sure would seem to mean the same thing after a couple of beers anyhow, butt apparently that is not the case.. OK none of them really have anything to do with each other, I just thought arrears and abut are funny sounding words and wanted to get goofy like a 13 year-old kid again, and I ran out of beer. Hope I did not affront any one, if so I take it all ABACK adv : by surprise. Well enough of this silly word play for now, unless anyone else can come up with something semi-related to the above to carry on with, but I have to go, got a hot date with ABROAD : 555-567-3636.
