Memorial Hospital
Memorial Hospital Offers Skin Cancer Screening Program Memorial Hospital is offering free skin cancer screenings on Wednesday, April 21 from 9 a.m. to Noon and Thursday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to Noon in the Physical Therapy Department. Memorial's Skin Cancer Screening Program is designed to help you detect pre-cancerous and/or cancerous skin lesions. Screenings are conducted by plastic surgeons and dermatologists who are members of Memorial's Medical Staff. Screenings are conducted by appointment only. If you are on a restricted time schedule, please understand there may be a brief wait before seeing the physician. A limited number of appointments are available. To schedule an appointment, call 618-257-5250.
D r. Geisler Wang to Have Healthy Conversation on a New Look and a New Attitude Dr. Dawn Geisler Wang, a plastic surgeon with Plastic Surgery Consultants of Southern Illinois, will conduct a Healthy Conversation about how you can reverse the tell tale signs of aging for a whole new look and attitude on Monday, April 26from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Health and Education Center, 706 East Highway 50, in O'Fallon, IL. Healthy Conversation is a program presented by Memorial Hospital in conjunction with area health professionals to provide the public with information on a variety of wellness-related topics. Dr. Geisler Wang will discuss changes in skin and how injectable fillers work and can reverse the signs of aging. There is no fee for this program but advanced registration is encouraged. Dr. Smithers to Have Healthy Conversation on Pain-Free Knees
Dr. Jeff Smithers, a board-certified sports medicine physician with Southern Illinois Sports Medicine will conduct a Healthy Conversation about the causes of knee pain and what you can do to remain active and pain free on Friday, April 30 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in Memorial Hospital's Auditorium. Healthy Conversation is a program presented by Memorial Hospital in conjunction with area health professionals to provide the public with information on a variety of wellness-related topics. There is no fee for this program but advanced registration is encouraged. Memorial Hospital to Host Lunch and Learn Program on Bioness Technology Memorial Hospital's Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation Department will host a Lunch and Learn session about Bioness technology on Monday, April 26 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Memorial Hospital's Auditorium. Bioness is an exciting new technology that can improve the life of patients who have experienced stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis or foot drop. The Foot Drop System and the Hand Rehabilitation System help patients to perform daily activities by re-educating the muscles. Bioness technology is available locally - only at Memorial Hospital. There is no fee for this program but advanced registration is required no later than Wednesday, April 21. A light lunch will be provided. To register for this program, call Memorial's Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation Department at 618-257-5250.
Sycamore Village
Sycamore Village yard sale is set for Friday May 21 and Saturday May 22. Donation for the yard sale will be accepted through May 14. Anyone can also have their own yard sale table for a $20 donation and then able to keep their proceeds. We will have fresh baked goods and snow cones for sale. Proceeds from the event will go to the Alzheimer's Association. To have your own table, please RSVP May 14 to 222-2571
Associated Physicians Group
Join us for a Joint Ribbon Cutting Event on Thursday, May 20th at 3 Tigers (920 Talon Dr., O'Fallon) and Associated Physicians Group (916 Talon Dr., O'Fallon) from 4pm to 6pm. Come out for our ballpark themed party with food, drinks, games, and door prizes (including tickets).
