Greetings!

Hopefully, we are having our last blast of winter weather here in Dallas.  How about some feng shui tips for staying warm and heating things up this Valentine's Day!  I received these from my feng shui teacher, Trisha Keel at www.tomorrowskey.com in Houston and happily pass them on to you.

  • Focus on just the two of you in your personal space.  This means removing any photos or paintings of anyone other than the two of you.  Farm out the children and remove pets too if necessary.
  • Your privacy zone should be free of cell phones, blackberries, etc.  Any TV or computer in your bedroom can be covered with a lovely cloth.
  • Set the stage for romance.  Look at your room with a director's eye.  If you were to shoot a movie of you and your lover, would the dog's bed be in the image? the laundry basket? that broken lamp?  If it isn't your perfect vision, at least stash it for your special evening.
  • Minimize visual distractions.  Clear the clutter.  Even if this means sweeping most of the items on your dresser or bedside tables into a drawer or a box that can be stashed in the closet.
  • Maximize visual enhancement!  Turn off electric lights, light candles, scatter rose petals, add more candles, wear pinks, reds and earth tones.  Oh, and did I mention more candles?  Put them in the bathroom, too.
  • Whether you prefer old, soft cotton or slithery satiny silk sheets, select what feels best to you.
  • Add soft, sexy music with NO commercials. (Interruption is not a word you want associated with your night of romance!)  Click here to read rest of article.

The luncheon is held in The Old Red Courthouse.  Tickets and information may be obtained by calling Sara John at 214-827-8973 or click here to learn more about Dallas CASA.
