As the summer draws to a close and the kids head back to school, we at the Chamber are gearing up for one of our biggest events of the year, 50 Men Who Cook. Our 4th annual 50 Men Who Cook community event will take place on Saturday, September 22 from 6-8 PM at Hilton Chicago Indian Lakes Resort. There are several ways for you to be a part of this great event. We have sponsorship opportunites for as little as $100. We still have some spots available for cooks. Join us on September 6 for our Bloomingdale Area Women in Business Girl Power Happy Hour at 5:00 PM at Jameson's Charhouse near Stratford Square Mall. Jameson's will supply complimentary appetizers. All are invited. RegisterOur next general membership luncheon will highlight our non-profit businesses. It will take place on September 13 at the Bloomingdale Golf Club. Come to not only learn about the great work done by local non-profit organizations, but also to network with fellow chamber members. 50 Men Who Cook
50 Men Who Cook is a community event where 50 local cooks serve "tastes" of their favorite dishes. Last year's attendees enjoyed everything from tailgate tenderloin, beer can chicken w/bbq & cranberry sauce, a variety of cheesecakes and Stan's infamous cake balls. In addition to having 50 dishes to taste, the fun-filled evening includes raffle prizes, terrific local musicians and a chance to vote for your favorite cook.
