Chamber News from the President
Dear Bloomingdale Chamber Members:
Our Annual Golf Classic was held last Thursday, July 12 at the Bloomingdale Golf Club. Everyone had a great time and we were blessed with perfect weather. Thanks to all of our sponsors, golf committee members, volunteers and golfers for making the event a great success. Thanks also to Don Helmig of Catering with Elegance and his staff for the great lunch and dinner. Pictures from the event can be viewed at the end of the newsletter.
Bloomingdale Area Women in Business will host an educational seminar, Personal Branding~What Does it Mean and Why Does it Matter, on July 24 at 7:30 AM. All of us are projecting our "brand" at all times whether we are aware of it or not. If we understand that, we can have greater control of the message that we're sending to other people. The seminar will be presented by Toby Nathan, Talent Acquisition Consultant at RecruitaStar. Men are always welcome at BAWIB seminars.
I hope you are all enjoying the more relaxed pace that summer brings.
For more information and to register for all Chamber events, go to www.bloomingdalechamber.com.
Best regards,
Jane |
