FINANCE AND FASHION LUNCHEON
The beautiful Shiraz on the Water Restaurant was the venue for BAWIB's annual Finance and Fashion Luncheon. Jane Lambesis, Vice President of Federated Investments, spoke to the attendees about Smart Women, Successful Investing. Everyone found something valuable to take away from her presentation.
Susan Sargent of Bloomingdale Bank & Trust presented the annual Bloomingdale Area Women in Business scholarship to Gayle Deja-Schultz. Gayle is working toward her bachelor's degree at Northern Illinois University and will graduate in the Spring of 2013. She expressed her gratitude to the group and explained how the scholarship will help her complete her degree and advance her career.
Finally, the membership was treated to a fabulous fashion show courtesy of Carson Pirie Scott hosted by Nicole Kneeland-Woods of Stratford Square. Thanks are due to our dazzling models Loralee Pearson of Huskie Tools, Debbie Lydon of Madrake Real Estate, Carrie Fullerton of the Bloomingdale Park District, Jackie Tufo of Hovde and Tufo, Attorneys at Law, Jo Petruncio of Alden Gardens, Lori Selvaggi of Hilton Indian Lakes Resort, Kathy Maykut of ReMax All Pro, and John Rossini of Amber Mortgage. Thanks also go to Mario Tricoci for providing hair and makeup services for the models and to Mario Tricoci and Stratford Square for the lovely gift bags given to all who attended.
