January Multi-Chamber Progressive Luncheon
130 members of the Chambers of Addison, Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream and Roselle attended the Multi-Chamber Progressive Luncheon on January 18 at the Bloomingdale Golf Club.  Attendees maximized their networking potential by sitting with a new group of business people for each course of the meal.  Table captains at each table moderated the conversation with thought provoking questions.

Bridgestone Awards Grant to Marklund
Marklund Children's Home, specializing in the care of developmentally disabled children and adults, recently received a $2500 grant from the Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund to underwrite the cost of privacy curtains in its Bloomingdale children's home.  Marklund worked with Bridgestone Retail Operations, LLC, which is also located in Bloomingdale, to secure the grant from the Trust Fund.  "For almost sixty years, The Bridgestone America Trust Fund has been supporting the work of nonprofits that make our communities better places to live, work and enjoy" said Ron Tepner, VP, Human Resources, Bridgestone Retail Operations.  "We're committed to helping organizations that enrich the lives of children and some of society's most vulnerable individuals and are pleased to support Marklund as part of that commitment."
