 Chamber News from the President Dear Members:
Today is the last day to register for our annual Holiday and Awards Luncheon on December 8. It will be held at Hilton Indian Lakes Resort starting at 11:15 AM. Entertainment will be provided by pianist Jenny Conti and Santa will make his annual appearance. Thank you to Darrin Bacon of First Bank & Trust for sponsoring the Holiday Luncheon and to Michael Hooper of Hilton for hosting this year's Awards Winners. Thanks also go out to Sam Lanza, Lanza Portrait Design, for offering professional portraits at the luncheon and to Lindsey Leonhardt of Mario Tricoci for offering complimentary services to BAWIB members prior to their portrait sessions. Professional Portraits at Holiday Luncheon
Sam Lanza of Lanza Portrait Design will be on hand to take professional individual portraits for Chamber members attending the Holiday and Awards Luncheon. Members can then purchase a CD of the portrait for $99. The Chambers of Addison, Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream and Glendale Heights invite you to participate in the Five Star Business Expo on Friday, February 12 from 9 AM to 3 PM at Hilton Chicago/Indian Lakes Resort. Student to Business Partnership On November 17, students from Glenbard East, Glenbard North and Lake Park High Schools had the opportunity to spend the day with local businesses. This unique job shadowing opportunity helped the students to explore their futures as they were placed with a business in the field they plan to pursue. After a morning with the business, the students were able to experience a business lunch with their business partners at Hilton Chicago/Indian Lakes Resort. Thanks to Michael Hooper of Hilton for sponsoring the students' lunches.
