Mission Vacancies with Ebyown Children's Village

Marijke (nurse) and Lina (Teacher) will be leaving Ebyown at the end of February 2010 after serving the Lord alongside us for a year. It has been fantastic to have them on our team and God has used them in a variety of ways during this challenging period in their lives.
Ebyown Children's Village

However we do need to plan ahead and look for their replacements and we are looking to recruit 3 new team members to start early February 2010. We are looking for Christians who love the Lord, who love working with children and can provide excellent
references.
  • Nurse with a UK, Australasian or USA qualification. Must have a clean driving license as the position will mean clinic visits with children. Minimum of one year stay, must be a team player and in good health.
  • Teacher with a UK, Australasian or USA qualification. Obvious gifting with children and able to rise to the challenge of working with children of a variety of special needs and ages. Clean driving license an advantage. Minimum of one year stay.
  • Cook. The home produces three meals a day plus snacks for 24 people. We provide a variety of food to give the children optimum nutrition. A catering certificate would be an advantage but relevant experience would be good too. Minimum of one year stay.
We can offer, accommodation, food, a challenging environment and a loving Christian
community. If you would like to rise to the challenge of working here in South
Africa please contact us for more details.

God places the solitary in families and gives the desolate a home in which to dwell."

1 Peter 1:3-9
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.
