Greetings!
Last weekend's farm tour was fun! We had 106 visitors share two wonderful afternoons with us and learn about our farm and greenhouses. It was nice to see familiar faces from the market and to match faces to names we know from our newsletter list. For those of you who were able to visit and took photos, please send them along. We were so busy showing you around, we didn't get a chance to take any pictures of the event! Farm tour fun continues tomorrow with the 2010 Charlotte Garden Tour presented by The Mecklenburg County Fruit & Vegetable Coalition and Slow Food Charlotte. Visit www.canyoudigitcharlotte.org for more information. I will give a demonstration on Seed Saving at the end of the tour at the 4:00 pm Garden Gathering. We will be at market at 7:15 tomorrow with mixed baby lettuce, Aji Dulce peppers, Islander (purple) bell peppers, Dancer eggplant, herb plants and our special blend of soil amendments. Hope to see you tomorrow! |
