Need a mid-week blueberry fix? We will be at the Matthews Farmer's Market this Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm with pints and gallons bags (pre-order gallon bags please). The early spring rains gave us a bounty of big blueberries and we are looking forward to bringing you this sweet harvest this year.

 

At last Saturday's market we were inspired by a customer to look for a recipe for "Blueberry Buckle". Paula made some this weekend and it was fantastic. You can find Martha Stewart's recipe here and ask Paula about it at the market on Wednesday.

 

We will also bring more berries to the our regular Saturday market. If you would like larger quantity for pies and the freezer or just want to make sure we have a few pints set aside for you (we sold out of 84 pints last week in 2 hours!), please let us know.
