Come in Your Pajamas
How would you like to come spend a cozy evening enjoying books? On this special night, kids and adults will relax together at The Children's Room. Everyone likes to hear a good book, and we have many wonderful stories from our library to share with you. Choose a picture book to read alone or with a group. Everyone will have a chance to be a reader, or to lean back on a pillow and listen.

Story Hour
To add to the fun, an adult librarian will read aloud during the second part of our evening program. That way, we can all enjoy a few stories together. Listening to a Story Hour Librarian who has experience reading to a big group will be a special part of our Library Evening. We think that everyone, including the adults, will enjoy this part of the night!

Honey-Bunny Tea and Letter Cookies
What could be cozier than tea and cookies? Our honey-bunny tea will not keep you awake, so kids and adults can enjoy a cup of tea with milk and honey. We will have letter cookies for you to eat, so you can taste some ABCs while you are listening to stories.

Books as Holiday Gifts
Here's an idea for a thoughtful gift: you can choose a book to donate in honor of a special person. We will provide pretty commemorative bookplates for you to put in a book of your choosing, and you will also get a gift-card to take home. For a contribution of $12.00 per book, you'll make a lasting tribute to a loved one. We will create a bookplate with the name of the donor and the name of the person in whose honor the gift is made. It's a lovely way to commemorate not only a loved one, but also a special night.

Handmade Bookmarks
During the evening, we will create handmade bookmarks. These can be taken home, or used as holiday gifts with a personal touch. We will laminate any bookmark you make, and you can take it home already wrapped in a gift bag.
