Greetings!

The crocuses are up and we are in the middle of Lent, as is evidenced by this eRISEN's plethora of Lenten study listings. Give one a try! Also, keep an eye on our facebook page for weekly Lenten videos.

This weekend, be sure not to miss our exciting Evangelism days with Christina Rees, of BBC fame. The events are free, and the Saturday April 9th date is open to all. Clergy are invited to a special day with Christina on April 8th as well.  See below for registration details.

On Saturday we will be giving copies of Christina's new book "Lent: Feast + Fast" to attendees from the parish who registers the most people, so drag a friend or two with you! Just be sure to register them online here in advance.

Blossoms and Blessings of other sorts too,

30 hour famine logoEpiscopal Charities 2011

Congratulations and many thanks to our donors and volunteers for their support and commitment to heal the gaps, hurts, and brokeness of so many of our neighbors.  We are thankful that so many of you heard our second call, asking those who had already given to give again in 2010.

At year end, the Board of Trustees was delighted to report that grants totaling $383,000 were given to 96 agencies and programs within the Diocese and to the wider community.  With your help, we continue to be a link between healers and those needing healing.

Our economy continues to be burdensome and we are grateful that so many could continue the tradition of "People Helping People" that the Rt. Rev. John Seville Higgins began in 1952.

2011 Annual Campaign Plans Are Underway

Speaker Sundays

Great speakers from our funded agencies are waiting to visit your church to help your church and Episcopal Charities reach another successful campaign for 2011.
