Bishop John Zawo of the Diocese of Ezo in the Sudan(one of our our companion Dioceses) arrived safely on Monday November 9th!  He spent the past week or so visiting parishes, meeting with our clergy etc. To keep updated on his whereabouts, and upcoming events visit the Companion Diocese committee's Ezo and RI blog or attend one of the events listed in this e-mail. New events are still being scheduled so keep an eye out.
 
Also, the RISEN Magazine Creative Writing Contest Deadline has been extended until November 30th. All entries must be postmarked by that date, so download your submission form and send in your entries today!
