Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island Events Newsletter  |  October 16th 2009
Line
Greetings!

Well, there is one week left until our 219th Annual Diocesan Convention.  Things are pleasently lively here at the Diocesan house as we pull everything together to make this event work.

If you haven't yet read the resolutions that will be voted on this year you can do so on the Convention page of our website. Read them and let your parish's Delegates know what you think, because your delegates are your voice at convention.

In other news, The Rev. David P. Lucey was installed as the Rector of St. Michael's Bristol on October 4th.  You can view the photo album on our public facebook page (even if you aren't a facebook member).

Lastly, the fall issue of RISEN Magazine was mailed late last week so keep an eye on your mailboxes.  If you can't wait to read it, it is now online in both a fun e-book format and a printable PDF.  Also, don't forget that RISEN Magazine's Creative Writing Contest deadline is November 14th, and that is just a little less than a month away!

Blessings,

Ruth Meteer
