Greetings!
Hello!
Wow, there seems to be an event in here for almost every day through December! There will be plenty for people of all sorts of sensibilities to do this fall; runners, crafters, musicians, teachers, and students alike. Look closely and I guarantee you'll find just what you were looking for.
Most of the exciting news these past few weeks has been about Young folks! The kickoff BBQ for our Diocesan Youth Program attracted 50+ kids and their respective youth leaders. Despite the rainy day, It was great for some of the kids at our smaller parishes to get to interact with kids from larger youth groups!
Also, the Diocesan Chaplaincy at Brown and RISD has had its first few meetings. There seems to be 35-40 interested students, and average attendance is around 10 so far. What a good start for the Rev. Deacon Michael Tuck, our new Chaplain.
Blessings,
Ruth Meteer Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island
