eRISEN
Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island Events Newsletter  |  Sept. 11th 2009
Line

Greetings!

Hello!

In this issue of eRISEN, notice all the enticing descriptions of Fall Bazaars that have been submitted! Soon enough Rhode Island will be peppered with pumpkin jubilees, bake sales, and penny socials. What is a penny social? I suppose we'll have to attend to find out.

One thing I haven't seen submitted (yet) is a Fall Bazaar with apple bobbing and a hayride. I know there must be one, so those of you who haven't yet submitted your parish's fall events, please use our automated online form!

In other news, The Rev. Susan Wrathall has been called as Rector of St. Mark's Church in Warwick,  and this Saturday, September 12th  Anne Burke will be ordained Deacon.

Lastly, don't forget that RISEN Magazine's Creative Writing Contest deadline is November 14th. join the facebook group for contest updates and deadline reminders!

Blessings,

Ruth Meteer
