Mark your calendar for Sunday, May 9 when area families can take part in The Race at Legacy Village, a one-mile run/walk to raise money for breast cancer research. Registration begins at 8 a.m., followed by the run at 9 a.m. and the walk at 9:20 a.m.
The Race is an event, started several years ago by two youngsters who wanted to get children involved in working to eradicate the disease.
