Jimmy Smith I was talking to Jimmy Smith, our #1 income earner this week, I am amazed how at 84 he is still as excited about Isagenix as when he called me the first time about 10 years ago.
He is the right example of the perfect networker, he was a butcher for 40 years and today with his family, he has earned over 24 million dollars!
What he does to build a fortune is so simple that many have a hard time doing what he does, why? because people tried to complicate the business. IF you follow what jimmy does, you will succeed.
I am glad he found network marketing because he is showing people that if you believe in it, it does not matter how many times you have failed, you will succeed
What is his secret?
In my opinion a few of things:
1- He dreams big! around 20 years ago, I was sitting with Jimmy having lunch during a break from an event, he started telling us how one day he was going to earn a million dollars, few minutes later, everybody left the table thinking he was just a talker, except me, he had so much enthusiasm that I got really excited, at the time, Jimmy was not successful yet, but he really believed his dream. Today he has earned with his family over 24 million in Isagenix.
2- He reads consistently and listen even today to personal development. He started to listen to motivational material by Earl Nightingale and Napoleon Hill on Vinyl records! he can repeat whole chapters of books like Think and Grow Rich. He has a thirst for learning that is amazing!
3. He keeps the business simple! When I joined Isagenix, I asked him, what do I do first?, he answered, become a consultant, then after I did it I asked, now what do I do now? he said, help them to become consultants, After I did it, I asked him, what do I do now? He said, sponsored two more people, and teach them the same, then I said, I got it!! In other words, you plus 2, and their 2, and repeat it again!
4. He is persistent! He called me for 10 months EVERY week before I joined, he says: The fortune is in the follow-up", also, he called the guy that maxout his re-entry for three years!! He does not stop calling anybody!
5. He uses the tools, Every time he was calling me, he was directing me to his website, at the time was not as cool as it is today, yet, still was very effective!
6. He knows his numbers, when he came to Salt Lake City to sponsor me after 10 months of following up, he wrote on a paper the power of two. You can see it below, he said "if you become a consultant, and their people become a consultant, this is what could happen" and he also says "This only works in Isagenix, because the other plans have blockages and limitations" He told me that if I would show those numbers in my presentations, I would be successful!. For those of you that have seen me or listen to me, you know that I still use that today, it is as effective today, as it was in the past. Make sure you learn those numbers.
7. He cares about people, I have seen Jimmy traveling from coast to coast to help people that are not even in his downline!
8. He believes in people, for those of you who have met jimmy, he always is building people, he really believes that anybody can succeed.
9. Even today when he is at meetings or events, he takes notes!! and then he applies what he learns ASAP.
10. He believes that if you want to be successful, you have to find BUSINESS people and NETWORKERS. He teaches that you find them by asking. Today with social media, you can find them even easier.
Jimmy is my mentor, he is a great example, Anthony Robbins says "The fastest way to become successful is, find somebody who is successful, find out what he/she is doing, and just model him/her" I did that, what he does worked yesterday, works today, and will work tomorrow! Today works even better because the tools that we have.
I hope you can see Jimmy's "secret", apply it to your business, and your success will happen!

Now, how do you start your associates quick? Very simple:

Step 1: Make a list of your associate first 10 names, make sure are the best in his/her list. Click here for a memory jogger.
Step 2: Contact with your new associate following the system above.
Step 3:Teach others to do the same
It is a that simple!
WHAT DO YOU ASK IN THE FOLLOW-UP?
Below are some suggested questions, they apply to cold or warm market, make sure you listen and if possible take some notes.:
Question 1: What do you love the most?
Question 2: What else do you love?
Question 3: How much money would you like to earn 12 months from now every month?
Question 4: Why? or What do you want to accomplish?
Question 5: Doing what you are doing now, how long will it take you to reach___?
Question 6: Can see how you can create an income with our business, can you see yourself doing this?
Question 7: Chocolate or vanilla?
BECOME A CONSULTANT MACHINE
Become a consultant as soon as possible, teach people to do the same.
What if anybody who you sponsor, and the ones they sponsor, and so for become consultants in their first month! Learn these numbers and teach them to others!
