Greetings!
We hope this message finds you enjoying the
stillness of winter and the warmth of the holiday
season.
In the dark winter months this season
offers us all the opportunity to reach deep within
ourselves to bring forth the luminosity and
generosity of the human spirit. Whether you are
sharing time with friends and family or if you find
yourself alone this holiday season, we wish you deep
abiding peace filled with gratitude for the incredible
gift of being alive.
May the new year bring you joy, vital health and an
overiding sense of purpose and empowerment. We
both feel so blessed to live here and to be
a part of your lives.
Sincerely,
Sam and Kevin

Winter Solstice Benefit Raised $1300
|
|
On the winter solstice, Dec. 21st, we held a special
fundraising event for Special Olympics Alaska. We
offered 15 minute restorative "winter solstice"
treatments all day 9-6 PM in exchange for open
donations. We treated over 40 people who
collectively donated $1300 dollars for the local Mat-
Su Special Olympics Alaska Program. It was really
fun! Everybody received a GREAT treatment and
donated generously. It was an exhilarating day and
a great reminder of what an incredible community we
live in. Thank you so much to everyone who braved
the snow storm to participate! For those who were
not able to make it or didn't know about this event,
no worries, we will surely hold this event again!

In the December 15th "Compass" column, the
Anchorage Daily News published an article written by
valley resident, Helene Antel. She wrote a heartfelt
and deeply personal call to all of us during this
holiday season. With her permission we have made it
available to you with the excerpt and link below:
"...I would like to celebrate the season in the true
spirit
of giving. If we celebrate a different kind of holiday,
if we resist the hype and commercialism, we can
work miracles..." Click Here for the Full Article
