The Original Crystal Blanket at Visionary Culture!
I love this blanket! It is now part of my ongoing product line, just because I want you to have access to the Best Stuff. I hope you can get one!
You know, as I travel on this path, I am coming into contact with some of the most amazing, helpful items on the planet.
One of them, a blanket made of spun crystal, will be available at 2012 Quantum Leap this weekend at the Visionary Culture booth! I am very excited to begin offering Arthur Franklin's galactivated creation.
Once you have one of these vibrationally cozy blankets over your shoulders, you'll see why I'm so excited! The blanket is made of crushed quartz crystals in a poly-fiber made of recycled bottles. You know how poly-fleece is so cozy. This poly-fleece is eco-sustainable as well. Let's use all those plastic botttles to create something good! I love it. It feels soft and warm, much better than regular polyfleece with the crystals in it.
The crystals act as little mirrors, reflecting your own energy and light back into your body for circulation, assisting in energy movement, blood and lymphy circulation and a truly high vibe! I have had the best night's sleep ever in these blankets made by my friend Arthur.

Nomi Shannon on Raw Inspirations!
The Raw Gourmet
www.rawgourmet.com
Laura's Note :: Listen in to Raw Inspirations Radio Wednesday night April 8 at 7 pm pacific time! I am really looking forward to speaking with Nomi, who recently found me at ExpoWest! We really connected and it was one of those meetings that finally happened, as I had been wanting to meet her and interview her on Raw Inspirations for years.
Nomi won Best Raw Educator and more at this year's Best of Raw competition.
by Nomi Shannon
I was
introduced to raw food in 1987 ago by a holistic physician. At that
time, I had serious digestive problems and felt ill no matter what I
ate. For the first time in my life, I was gaining weight and had begun
to develop an alphabet of maladies. With my physician's encouragement,
I began to eat about fifty percent of my food raw. Most of us already
eat quite a bit of raw food, such as fruit, salads, coleslaw and even
smoothies, so I found it quite easy to expand on that theme; I carried
around a pocket full of raw almonds for snacks. I began to feel better
almost immediately.
But it wasn't until
sometime later that I became really serious about eating raw food and
went on a three week one hundred percent raw food and juices program,
including wheatgrass juice. I lost eleven pounds in 14 days and
couldn't believe how physically and mentally well I felt. It made me
realize that the degenerative process was so very subtle and slow that
I simply had forgotten how it felt to be healthy.
From
that moment on, I embraced a 100% raw food program, and over a matter
of several weeks said good riddance to fibromyalgia, hypoglycemia, mood
swings, allergic sinusitis, digestive disorders, including acid reflux,
and in time rid myself of candida (a systemic yeast infection that has
multiple symptoms). My physical, emotional and mental energy was so
high I had never experienced anything like it. It would be a lie to say
that, in my mid-forties, I felt as though I were in my twenties again.
I had never felt as good in my twenties. Read full story here

Deep Light Cafe :: Jacqueline Clemons + David Gunderloy on Music of Awakening My friend Jacqueline co-created in the Visionary Culture Booth at 2012 Quantum Leap. This gorgeous multi-talented goddess has beautiful hip-positive music to share

Friday, April 10 Music of Awakening Noon PST, 3 PM est
Hip-Positive Music-- is at the heart of what DEEP LIGHT CAFE is all about.
Adult Contemporary Music that unapologetically crosses over to all ages and races.
With a sound evolving from the "Old-School" vibes of
artists such as Macy Gray, Sade, Sting, The Brand New Heavies,
Spearhead, Sly Stone, Earth Wind & Fire - Deep Light Café arrives
into the new soundscape that is being explored by artists such as Pink,
Natasha Bedingfield, Black Eyed Peas, India Arie, Justin Timberlake and
the like.
The self-titled debut album by Deep Light Café features
a unique signature blend of classical guitars with deep-in-the-pocket
drums and bass, providing the perfect setting for Jacqueline Clemons'
amazing, one of a kind voice and the band's positive message of
universal love.
Deep Light Café fills a gap in the musical marketplace,
populated by like-minded people who crave music that fits a lifestyle
of social, ecological and spiritual consciousness.
Once the band members created their sound, they began
playing their new tracks for everyone who wished to listen - fans,
friends, family, people on the street, people in clubs and restaurants.
The response was immediate, positive, and always went something like
this -------
"I want the CD! Where can I get it?"
Well here it is!

Greetings!
Aloha!
"Just let go" is such a common saying, but do we really know how to do it, or what it's value is?
When I attended Damen Easton's Se Re Ma workshop this weekend, we experienced 'letting go' to a whole new level.
Though
typically we wouldn't think of letting go as an art or a science, from
my experiences this weekend, I'm seeing how it is both. There is a
kinesthetic feeling related to "letting go," as well as physics related
principles to it's functionality and results.
When an inner or
outer circumstance grips us mentally, emotionally or physically, it
sometimes feels challenging to let go. Likewise, when we want something
very much, it can also be challenging to let go of it, we tend to grasp.
The
teachings in Self Realization Manifestation - Se Re Ma - helped me to
really experience letting go and it's value. I have been a long time
student of reality creation and manifesting, including the work of
Esther and Jerry Hicks with Abraham. They talk often about the art of
letting go, and what happened this weekend in Se Re Ma, is I ACTUALLY
EXPERIENCED IT, what it felt like, and the absolutely profound effect
it has on me when I do it. Paradoxically, it is non-active action.
There are steps to do inwardly in order to REALLY RELEASE the situation
or image, and it feels REALLY GOOD!
There are very deep
spiritual truths behind all of this about which I'll be writing more in
issues to come and on my blog. And for now, suffice it to say that
Letting Go in the real sense is now recognized by moi to be the
source-origin point of any teachings about forgiveness, which have
gotten twisted up in ego and misunderstanding over the centuries to
varying degrees depending on who is describing it.
Forgiveness
doesn't mean someone did something wrong as much as "I'm now going to
fully release all energies, images and anything within me associated
with this experience, without resistance, with total love, and total
peace!"
I totally recommend Damen's training. His spiritual
teaching and skill work is profound and life changing. He will be my
guest again on May 4.
My thought for you for the week ::
What
does letting go feel like? What would happen if you were to let go
completely of any given scenario? What happens if we totally allow any
experience to be, even if it is something we didn't want, or if it is
something we desire to create, and then without resistance, totally
relax, allow and let it go while feeling at One with all possibilities
and all things? I would LOVE to post your responses in next week's e-zine if you care to share! If you want info on Se Re Ma training, just let me know. laura@visionaryculture.com

What is a Food Forest Garden?
Imagine a forest where every single tree is dripping with fresh
fruits and ripening nuts. Every shrub is packed with delicious berries,
and every other plant is a medicinal herb, culinary spice, or beautiful
edible flower. Tubers and root crops are abundant underfoot, gourmet
mushroom logs sprout in the shade, and hardy kiwi vines climb back up
through the layers of this multi-functional forest of food.
Food forests are diverse gardens modeled after natural ecosystems
designed to mimic the way a forest thrives and regenerates. A forest
continuously nourishing all elements in the system and produce a vast
diversity of outputs, but requires little or no inputs to sustain
itself. By recognizing the self-supporting, mutually beneficial
relationships of the elements in a forest - from tall trees, smaller
trees, shrubs, herbs, ground covers, vines, nitrogen fixers,
insectaries, fungi, animals, and more, the food forest garden designs a
similar system but replaces the components that are in a common forest
with species that are preferred edibles and more useful for humans. The
forest then becomes a Garden of Eden, in which edible or useful plants
are found from head to toe, where something in season is always ready
to eat, and the system requires little or no maintenance to sustain and
regenerate.
Where Can I Learn About Forest Gardens?
We recommend the book - Edible Forest Gardens, by Dave Jacke and Eric Toensmeier, www.edibleforestgardens.com
as well as Permaculture resources, practices, and philosophies.
The best way is to learn how to design and install a Food Forest Garden is by taking a hands-on course.
Check out the Living Mandala Website for information.

FOREST GARDEN COOKING, AND MORE
Course Description
This course immerses participants in the hands-on reality of
designing and co-creating edible forest gardens. During the 4-day
(Thu-Fri-Sat-Sun) course, participants learn how to design, establish,
and maintain such Edible Forest Gardens of Eden.Together we will engage
in the practical skills of forest gardening: propagation, grafting,
planting & mulching, soil ecology, basic botany & horticulture,
management & maintenance, plant identification, mushroom
inoculation, foraging & wild edibles, community preparation of
local medicines, and fresh forest garden cooking. Daily plant walks
connect participants on a deeper level with a diversity of
multifunctional herbs, trees, and vines. Participants share stories of
their own forest gardening explorations, and a visit to an 11-year old
local forest garden shows the evolution of these systems. We learn to
weave forest gardening into our communities as well as into the soil.
Forest Gardening in the Northeast
This course functionally interconnects with other Forest Garden
courses taught in the Northeast this season by providing cultural
mentoring in the hands-on joys and challenges of starting and
maintaining forest gardens. Our connection to the local community will
culminate in adding another quarter-acre of forest garden to last
year's acre-planting, and a celebration with the local permaculture
community before returning home.
