Building Awareness
Greetings!
Happy National Architecture Week! Yes, you're reading that correctly, and no, it's not a Hallmark holiday. April 10 begins a week dedicated to raising awareness of the role that architects play as a force for positive change in our communities and to elevate the public's appreciation of design. The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is launching this virtual campaign with video presentations, awarding prizes to randomly selected viewers...what a deal! Log on to try your luck, and learn about some fun and exciting new projects.
With a world of fascinating design to explore, we continue to draw inspiration from fresh, new sources allowing us to approach our projects from innovative perspectives. Take a look at the articles below to see some of the ways we enjoy engaging with our community, sharing our expertise, and growing as individuals and as a single team. We will have a lot more to share in the upcoming months, so "stay tuned"!
Enjoy the Spring.......
Ciao for now!
All the Best, Lenore

"A Billion Acts of Green"

Earth Day 2011 is right around the corner, with the official date of Friday, April 22. This year's theme, "A Billion Acts of Green", recognizes the power that millions of individual acts as well as larger organizational initiatives have toward collectively making a huge difference to improve our environment.
Whether it's making a commitment to recycle on a regular basis, plant a garden, or simply walk more and drive less, every bit does count! If part of your plan is to review your home's energy efficiency, there are several resources that can help you along.
Listed below are just a few websites that show you how to receive rewards for your energy saving "acts of green":
