Verse of the Week

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death,
even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

           Philippians 2:8-11 (NIV)

Greetings!

Here we are at the end of the semester.  I pray this has been one of great growth for you, full of all the fun and challenge that college life brings...and that this Christmas and New Year's will be a blessed time with family and friends.  Our goal with the Communicator has been to keep you informed and aware of things happening around campus-those things designed to be a part of that enriching process.  We're always looking for ideas.  We need you to let us know what could make the Communicator even better.  In fact, with that in mind, we have a deal for those who reply to this email and provide at least one suggestion/comment to give us ideas on topics to cover, questions to answer, or info to provide.  See the bottom of this email for the exciting details.  In the meantime, have a great time studying for finals, and we look forward to seeing you non-graduates back safe and sound in January!

GRAD 4

Alright, here's the deal: if you reply to this email and provide us with a suggestion for a way to improve this and make it something students will truly use as an information resource, you will be entered into a drawing for one of two cool Christmas treats.  We have an Amazon Kindle Fire and a  Roku 2 XS 1080p Streaming Player to give away before you head out for break.  I know, you kinda want to tell others about this, but then you realize that the more people you tell, the less chance YOU have of winning!  We'll draw the names on Wednesday at noon.  We'll have a few surprise drawings next semester, too, just to make sure you're still checking us out.  Stay tuned, and best wishes for a great Finals Week and Christmas season!
