As part of the hospital wide housestaff incentive program, the ED residents have chosen a department specific goal of reducing our mean room to exam time by 20% from last year to increase patient satisfaction. For the first two quarters, the residents have done a great job, reducing last years 30 minute room to exam time to 22.28 min for Q1 and 16.93 min for Q2, well under our 25 minute target. Great job!
