NO MORE LINES FOR OVERAGE CHECKS

Starting winter quarter, students will no longer have to stand in line to pick up their financial aid overage check. Students will now be able to choose whether they would rather have the refund direct deposited or mailed to their address on file.

If a student chooses direct deposit, a notice will be sent to their email as to when then money is available and the amount of the refund. To establish direct deposit, students need to complete an Overage Check Request Form  with a voided check attached or a letter from the bank no later than the first day of the quarter. Requests should be returned to the Cashier and Records Office, and must contain the proper documentation.

If the student would rather the check be mailed to their home, they must complete a Overage Check Request Form and return it to the Cashier and Records Office.
DID YOU KNOW?
  • Health insurance is available to all Hocking Students.
  • Priority Registration for winter quarter begins on November 21, 2011; See your adviser.
  • The Access Center is available to any student with a documented disability; Stop by JL 249.
WHERE THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S AN "A"...
  • Many students find that studying in short bursts (15 minutes or less) brings the best results
  • If ever "extra credit" is offered - do it !  This can never hurt your grade!
  • Identify how you learn best: by seeing, hearing, speaking the information? Do you remember colors? Do you learn by repetition?
