Holocom Demonstrates FSI PDS Solution at TechNet Land Forces Conference

Fiber SenSys partner Holocom brought FSI's combined Protected Distribution Systems (PDS) security solution - the new SL508 APU - front and center with demonstrations at the AFCEA TechNet Land Forces South Conference in Tampa, FL this month. The two-day event, held July 10-11, provided a forum for military and Coast Guard security forces to share security issues and solutions.

Fiber SenSys' proven and certified fiber-optic sensor technology has been integrated at the manufacturer level with the Holocom Secure PDS Raceway, providing optimal PDS protection.

Together, Fiber SenSys and Holocom technology:

  • Offers a full featured, lower cost Alarmed PDS
  • Works on Fiber-Optic, S-PON and Copper Classified Networks
  • Allows easy network changes when requirements change
  • Offers Advanced Tuning & Calibration Software

Military decision makers and designated approving authorities continually seek improved and more cost effective ways to address physical security and information assurance challenges. Holocom-FSI combined technology is a cost efficient solution that offers never-before-seen levels of protection of national security information.

FSI Partner Focus - Accu-Tech

Fiber SenSys is pleased to announce an exciting new strategic partnership with distributor Accu-Tech.

Accu-Tech is a leading supplier of premise cabling solutions for the data, voice, security, sound, video, electrical contractor and central office markets. Dedicated to delivering products from the top manufacturers in the securities industry, Accu-Tech is joining forces with FSI to provide and jointly market comprehensive perimeter security solutions.

Plans call for development of coordinated end-to-end solutions prominently featuring Fiber SenSys together with other top security product manufacturers, all distributed and promoted by Accu-Tech. End users and integrators will have the assurance that each of the product lines are top quality and fully tested, and will receive the best in factory support.

Fiber SenSys is working closely with Accu-Tech to develop complete solutions that will best serve end users and integrators, and the approach will allow FSI to take advantage of its full product line: fiber-optic sensors, as well as microwave sensors and lighting solutions. Fiber SenSys is currently providing in-depth training on the FSI product line to Accu-Tech staff and sales teams.

The two companies share many of the same philosophies and values, according to Duane Thompson, FSI Chief Operating Officer. Each was looking for a strategic partner, willing to creatively and jointly market to the industry. Thompson finds the excitement expressed by Accu-Tech when discussing potential plans to be infectious, and is enthusiastic about the new partnership. "It's a relationship of opportunity and development," says Thompson.
