Principal's Message
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, Dear Parents, Ar-Rasool sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam told us in a Hadeeth that the most beloved deed to Allah is to enter happiness in the heart of a Muslim. When we are generous towards other people, we are able to enter happiness in the hearts of a Muslim. For example, when we feed someone who is hungry (generosity through money), they feel happy; when we help someone do something that they are finding challenging (generosity through our time), it makes them happy; when we smile at someone who may be having a bad day (generosity through our pleasant character), they feel happy. Allah gives us so many opportunity during any given day to do so many things that could be considered most beloved to Allah. As we conclude the theme of this month, encourage your child to find small opportunities during the school day, to enter happiness in the heart of others. And during the evenings and weekends, consider doing a family activity where you may enter happiness in the hearts of others. For example, consider having your child make a card for someone who is sick; or to buy and drop food off for someone who is sick; or to help an old neighbor buy their groceries, etc. We ask Allah to make us of those people who do deeds that are most beloved to Allah. Weekly Announcements
1. Cell Phones/Electronics Devices
Please remember that cell phones, laptops, smart phones, cameras, ipods, ipads, etc. are not allowed at school. If found they will be confiscated.
2. Parking
The handicap parking is ONLY for those who have handicap tags. The parking places in front of teh building are to be kept free for traffic to pass. Please do not park in the handicap spaces nor in front of the building.
3. RE-REGISTRATION FOR 2012-2013 School Year
Re-registration for current students is open until March 5th , 2012. After this date the admission will be open for to everyone and we will not be able to guarantee a spot for your child next year. Please stop by the front office to fill out the re-registration form.
4. Lost & Found Items
Please remember to claim any left over items soon. We will be giving away the unclaimed items at the end of the month in shaa Allah.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

It is time for the DELIVERY!
OTIS SPUNKMEYER cookie dough delivery is coming in on Thursday March 8th In Sha' Allah.
Your order will be ready for pick up at 2:30 pm. If you have a large order, please try to pick it up before dismissal. Your orders will be available for pick up until 6 in the evening.
We need parent volunteers to help us distribute the cookie tubs form 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Please contact Br. Gebyar Dinarsakti (PTSG Amir) to sign up at gebyar.dinarsakti@gmail.com
Directions for Parents picking up Cookie Dough:
- Please do not pick up your child before dismissal time.
- If you are coming at dismissal to pick up your order, then after picking up your child/children from the pick up location, please enter the back parking lot and drive over to the black top.
- If you have large order then park your car in one of the lots available for parking on the black top, then walk over to retrieve your order.
- If you have less than five tubs in your order, then please stay seated in your car in a line for the exit ramp. Please have available your child's name and grade in writing with correct spelling. Present the information to one of the volunteers and they will bring your order to the car.
- Trafiic on black top will only be one-way.

Parenting Workshop -NEW DATE
A Quarterly Program for Parents
Dear Parents,
We are happy to announce our second parenting workshop for this year, titled "Establishing a Happy Family."
This workshop will be held at Al-Huda School on
Saturday, March 10, 2012, from 10 am - 2 pm. Br Ayman Nassar and Dr. Hussein Afeefy will co-present this workshop In Shaa Allah. Some key highlights of the workshop are as follows:
- Dealing with an overwhelming list of family demands
- Elements of a successful marriage
- Are you really living with your family
- How to resolve disputes between husband and wife peacefully
- Guidance from Ar-Rasool sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam about house work
To maximize the benefit of this workshop, we strongly recommend that BOTH parents attend this workshop, if possible. Please register for the workshop as soon as possible. Seating is limited.
