Re:  Month of May recap of CoSIDA Board of Directors and divisional leadership updates and initiatives

May was another busy month for the leadership within CoSIDA and we hope you will take some time to review this regular letter from the Board and divisional leadership groups as it will update you on a variety of matters.

ANNUAL CONVENTION: June 23-26, St. Louis, Mo.

Right at the top of matters of course is the annual convention in St. Louis which 2012 St. Louis Convention logo begins on June 23. You can review the most updated schedule / information for the convention at the  2012 Convention webpage.

· You must preregister by June 1 (at 11:59 pm Eastern) for the convention. If you do not, you can still attend by registering at the convention site (June 23-24) for a late registration fee.

Just a reminder to all folks planning to attend - you will only be able to attend the CoSIDA seminars, social events/luncheon/Gala with a convention registration badge. The only exception will be the Farewell Party/Reception at Busch Stadium on June 26 - where tickets will be available for family members not registered for the Convention in limited quantities. TICKET SALE INFO & DETAILS BELOW.

· For more information on the Convention (programming, topics, presenters, social events, transportation, St. Patrick Center community service project, 5k fun run/walk at the Arch, golfing discounts, transportation to and from the airport) - click on the logo above and also click HERE.

· BUSCH STADIUM FAREWELL PARTY/RECEPTION: Tuesday, June 26

CoSIDA Convention attendees who attend the Farewell Party/Reception at Busch Stadium on Tuesday, June 26, will have an opportunity to take a private behind-the-scenes tour of the home of Major League Baseball's St. Louis Cardinals. Tickets are only $5 apiece and will be available during Convention registration on Saturday, June 23, from 10 am-3 pm Central and on Sunday, June 24, from 8-11 am. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis to the first 200 who purchase them. No tickets will be sold the day of the event.

The last night of the 2012 CoSIDA Convention will begin with a special on-field presentation by legendary Cardinals shortstop and Baseball Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith at 6:15 pm, followed by the annual Farewell Party/Reception from 6:45-8 pm in the Redbird Club that offers fantastic views of the stadium and the St. Louis skyline. Convention attendees' family and friends not registered for the Convention also may attend the Ozzie Smith presentation and Farewell Party/Reception by purchasing tickets for $30 apiece during the registration times listed above. As with the tour tickets, party tickets will not be available the day of the event.
