44 ASD Employees Camp Out To Take Calls During Hurricane Irene


Employees set up air mattresses and sleeping bags in ASD's offices to camp out during Hurricane Irene. 


You can't control the weather, but you can control how you prepare for it. This is how ASD went into Hurricane Irene. When we learned a destructive hurricane was headed straight for the region, we made arrangements to provide both our staff members and funeral director clients with protection. 44 ASD employees camped out in the offices and conference rooms to ensure your funeral home had backup support during Irene's destructive wake.


"Our office is located 30 minutes from Philadelphia. The area is not prone to natural disasters, however in one week we experienced both an unbelievably rare earthquake and the largest hurricane to affect our region in ten years," says Kevin Czachor, Vice President. ASD is taking another step to help the environment by offering our clients convenient, paperless billing options. Clients can receive statements via email or print a monthly bill directly from their online account at www.myasd.com.  



Paperless Billing Options: 

  1. Receive an email when your bill is ready, but still have a copy mailed to you via USPS.
  2. Receive an email when your bill is ready, which will include an attached printable copy of your statement. No bill will be mailed to you via USPS.
  3. Receive an email when your bill is ready and available for you to print on www.myASD.com. No bill will be mailed to you via USPS.

To begin using paperless billing:

  1. Log in to your ASD online account and click the 'Billing' tab found in the purple 'Info' section. You may also click here to log in. 
  2. For security reasons, to enter the 'Billing' section, you will need to create a new password and enter your email address. Payment confirmation will be sent to the email address entered.
  3. Once you have a billing email address in place, you may activate paperless billing via phone, 1-800-868-9950 x1 or email the billing department at billing@myasd.com. When submitting your request, please specify which paperless billing option you want (see above options).
