Zionsville Country KennelDear Clients and Friends of Zionsville Country Kennel,

It is with a mixture of sadness and excitement that Dave and I announce our retirement. You have trusted us with the care of your pets for the past 21 years and they have become part of our 'family', as have you. We've enjoyed this wonderful community and thank you for your loyal patronage throughout the years and wish you all the blessings and happiness for the future.

We would like to introduce you to the new owners of Zionsville Country Kennel: Deb and Ron Douglas. We chose them as the successor of the business knowing that they would continue to provide the excellent, personalized care on which we've built this business. All of the familiar faces at the kennel will still be there to care for your pet, which should make their transition seamless. We hope you extend your kindness to them as you have to Dave and me over the years.

Warm Regards,

Jill & Dave Brattain

Owning a kennel has been our dream for many years and we are thrilled to have found our opportunity to pick up the reins here at the Zionsville Country Kennel. We set out to find a kennel that was the culmination of our best boarding experiences over the years. We knew our search was over once we met Jill and Dave, and the entire crew at the Zionsville Country Kennel. We will strive to maintain the reputation built by Jill and Dave and to exceed your expectations for the care of your pet.

We'd really like to meet each and every one of you, so please stop by to say "hi", whenever you have an opportunity. We are new to the area, and from what we have seen so far we are very excited. We are looking forward to many years of caring for your pet and finding the best way to serve their needs.

Sincerely,

Deb & Ron Douglas

First steps towards building more skills!

Is your dog well-behaved? Does she have good manners in public and around other dogs? The Canine Good Citizen program is a great way to demonstrate that your dog is a good companion and perhaps even earn a certificate stating they are a 'Canine Good Citizen' (CGC). Zionsville Country Kennel will offer CGC preparatory classes on Saturday mornings, 10-11:00am, on Feb 5, Feb. 12, Feb. 19, Feb 26, and Mar 05.

The CGC test will be conducted on March 12. Fees for the 5 preparatory classes and the test is $200. The fee for just the test is $25. The program is open to all dogs, and you may call the kennel at 317-769-6172 or send an email to zcktraining@gmail.com to register.

Don't let the cold, snow, or darkness slow your dog's activity level...instead, bring her to Kennel Camp for a fun-filled day of exercise, play, and socialization.
