Training Tip with Janalee
Monthly training tips and pointers
Question: What's the story with dog food, is there really a difference between the brands?
As we continually learn more about how our dogs behavior is affected by nutrition, you can do some research of your own. Check the ingredient label and look at the first 4-5 items listed. They should be healthful meat and grain sources, not fillers or byproducts. For details on how to analyze your dog food, ask Janalee for Whole Dog Journal's dog food comparison list. |

Groomer's Corner
Take the bite out of flea season!
Flea season will stay with us for a while longer and even the most diligent owners may find these pesky critters all over Rover. While preventing fleas is much easier that trying to treat an infestation, it is very important to examine your pet's skin and coat on a regular basis. Look for bald patches, inflamed skin, and fleas. Skin problems rarely improve on their own and fleas in the house just don't go away. Initiate treatment and prevention immediately. Freshen up your pet for fall with our October groom special-Renew Spa shampoo, Nourish conditioner, and AromaTherapy cologne...all for just $5.00! Call 769-6172 to schedule an appointment!
