2012 Biodynamic Conference
regionsCome Represent Your Region or Group
at the Biodynamic Conference

With our conference located this year in the heartland of North America, we hope to have all the regions and all the regional biodynamic groups of the continent represented. We are planning an Open Space session where regional representatives can meet and share their stories and insights. We've already heard of some creative ways in which people are coming together to make this possible. Contact us if you'd like to discuss possibilities. We look forward to gathering with you all this November in Madison!

Wondering how to get there or where to stay? We have reserved discounted room blocks at 4 hotels, which must be booked by October 15 through MeetingMax. For more details on this and other options (hostel, homestay, etc.), see our lodging page. Want to share a room or a ride? See our forums for that. We also have transportation information for getting to Madison by plane, train, car, or bus, as well as how to get around town once you're there.

We encourage you to make your lodging reservations early, as we anticipate that lodging in Madison will fill up due to other events happening at the same time. The hotel deadline is October 15.

Scholarships and/or volunteer discounts: Last chance to apply is September 15. Notices will be emailed by October 1. Awards or assignments will be based on funds or volunteer positions available.

Sponsors and exhibitors: This is a unique opportunity to connect with the biodynamic community. Sponsoring, exhibiting, and advertising gets your name out and supports the biodynamic approach to agriculture. Check out our current list of sponsors and partners here.

gmoGMO Labeling Issue Heats Up
Right to Know California is getting closer to voting this November on whether food products that contain genetically engineered ingredients should be labeled. As the vote draws nearer, a number of large pesticide and food companies have contributed millions to defeat Proposition 37. We're proud to endorse the Right to Know effort and encourage you to check out the campaign headquarters for more information about the issue and ways to support their efforts.
