Director's Message

The past two months provided multiple opportunities to partner with great organizations and individuals locally, state-wide and nationally that share our faith and our heart to fulfill the mission and vision of INFG.
- Golden Valley Door of Hope: in facilitating one and one HCTH classes, I mentored one woman who shared her post-abortion testimony at their 2nd Annual Fundraising Banquet. Michelle plans to help others at her local crisis pregnancy center in Clinton, Missouri using her RN skills as a sonographer.
- Rachel House and Pregnancy Resource Clinic of St. Joseph-through facilitating group HCTH classes, INFG team leaders are ministering to several women going through the healing journey who are interested in volunteer counseling opportunities at their local crisis pregnancy centers.
- Laura Limmex: offering a former Reconciliation Weekend participant guidance and direction that will assist her in providing post-abortion healing classes in the state of Iowa.
- Metro Voice Newspaper:
educating our community about the spiritual, social, and emotional effects of abortion on women, men and families and the services available at INFG through advertising.
- Women of Faith: raising awareness in our community of the need for and availability of healing from the effects of abortion; through a full-page ad in the WOF Business Guide. Over 14,000 women are expected to be in attendance and view an abortion-related skit performed by Nicole Johnson at their recent KC conference at the Sprint Center.
- Blue Springs Assembly of God and Kansas City Baptist Temple: providing a speaker resource for the Fall Women's Rally "She's Got the Look" and "Ladies Night at the Movies" Women's Ministries.
- Eastside Baptist Church: sharing the vision of INFG to bring post-abortive women, men and families into the light to restore them to fellowship with God, set free from captivity and bondage to walk in the freedom of their calling, using their gifts to serve the Lord and make known His Kingdom now, and to live the abundant life He came to give each one of us.
I'd like to thank you very much for all your support that is helping us accomplish God's directives to bring healing, restoration, & reconciliation to His children through INFG Ministries!
With Much Appreciation,
Lori Driggs |

KCBT Movie Night
INFG Ministries is appreciative of the opportunity the Women's Ministry of Kansas City Baptist Temple extended to our Director, Lori Driggs, to speak at their Movie Night on September 24th. Each quarter a ministry whose heart is to help women is invited to speak to the women who attend the KCBT Movie Night and all proceeds from the admissions and concession sales are donated to that ministry. We want to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Women's Ministry team at KCBT for this innovative method for helping not-for-profits and lay ministries. Statistics state one out of four women will have an abortion by the age of 45. When Lori gets the opportunity to share her story and testimony of healing in any room filled with Sisters in Christ we know she is speaking to women who can relate to the choice she made. We are grateful for the chance to tell them of the peace they can experience when they intentionally choose to allow God's grace to shine into the dark and shameful pit in their heart caused by their abortion(s). We especially want to thank the women who responded to that message of hope by contacting INFG to seek help.

Life After Abortion - A Documentary
On September 23rd a small team from INFG attended a documentary, Life After Abortion, shown in a local Overland Park theatre. Just minutes into the documentary the audience began to physically and audibly react to the stories they were hearing from the screen. Heads were nodding, light gasps escaped lips, and tissues were pulled out of handbags as many articulate women from across the United States shared the stories of their unplanned pregnancies, the process of "choosing" abortion, their medical and emotional experiences in the clinic, the medical complications some of them experienced after their abortion, the esteem and life-destroying behaviors they engaged in afterward, and their testimony of reconciling with this past regret. Every choice has a consequence and the women transparently share about those consequences that are still experienced by some of them due to infertility, miscarriages, and permanently altered family structures (to cite just a few). A former abortion clinic owner candidly reveals the strategy formulated by her management team for increasing the number of unplanned teen pregnancies in her area to increase her profit. A mom shares about viewing her deceased daughter in the hospital morgue - her life ended early from abortion-related complications.
This documentary is available for purchase. It contains an unabridged version that is 106 minutes in length, an abridged version that is 60 minutes in length, as well as 13 special features ranging from two to 13 minutes in length which are ideal for showing in small group gatherings of adults or youth, in large group gatherings of congregations or networking groups, and even in the privacy of your own home with your family.
As a friend of INFG, I invite you to purchase and view a copy of this DVD. It will give you the opportunity to connect with this ministry at a deeper level as you hear stories very similar to those shared by the women who participate in our Her Choice To Heal classes and Reconciliation Weekends. INFG is selling copies of this DVD for $30. Ten dollars from every DVD sale is donated directly to the ministry thanks to Brian Barkley with New Liberty Videos. Or you can get information about purchasing DVD's for $20 at

2011 INFG Ministry Partners!
Noland Road Baptist Church has once again chosen INFG as one of their local mission projects to be funded by Global Impact Celebration (GIC). NRBC has supported us with a variety of printing needs, a laptop computer, food for Reconciliation Weekends, and facility use for meetings and Her Choice to Heal classes. We are blessed by their partnership for 2011! - Karen Lathrop -Team Leader
Eastside Baptist Church is honored to unite with INFG to see women, men and families walk in freedom and restoration by growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Through prayer and serving in my natural gifting of "helps" at INFG, I felt compelled to ask my Sunday school class, "Women Following Christ," to partner with this ministry in the same way. We are looking forward to supporting INFG so more women, men, and families can walk in the fullness of God's calling on their lives by the power of the Holy Spirit. - Julie Gall -Team Leader |

Partnering in Donor Development
It has been my privilege to serve on the INFG team since 2004. Over the past six years I have had the opportunity to serve in various capacities. The demands of raising three active teens and pre-teens limits the time I can devote to INFG. I needed to determine how I could stay involved with INFG and raise my family too. An evaluation of my spiritual gifts revealed that I possess the gifts of faith and giving. These gifts would serve me well in locating and securing potential financial partners for INFG. Therefore, I decided to assist with donor development. This role has stretched me and moved me out of my comfort zone. I soon found that most people truly enjoy giving once they are aware of the great NEED for our ministry! They begin to ask "How can I help?" As Co-Underwriting Coordinator for our recent fundraising banquet, it was our goal to have the event completely underwritten so that all donations made that evening could go directly to ministry. Throughout the planning of our first banquet, our Director continually encouraged us to pray about who we could approach to come alongside of us in this endeavor. Through God's faithfulness we achieved our goal! During this troubled economy, I am certain of God's leading to all who generously contributed gifts to make the banquet our most successful fundraiser ever! PTL! He is growing our ministry by leaps and bounds and we are blessed and thankful!

A Cord of Three Strands
A cord of three strands was the theme of a wedding I recently attended. The picture of that truth is depicted in the support and strength extended to INFG in 2010 by three churches. They are woven into the fabric of this ministry and so it is with heartfelt gratitude that we thank their Pastors, Missions Committees, and faithful members who support ours and many other local and global ministries. Abundant Life Baptist Church, Crown Pointe Church, and Noland Road Baptist Church - we thank you for your significant financial gifts!
