Michael Beaudry, Inc. About to Emerge from Reorganization

Los Angeles, CA -- Michael Beaudry Inc. (and its brother corporation, Centerstone Diamonds, Inc.) known for designing and manufacturing perhaps the most elite jewelry in the world,  announced an agreement with its secured lender, First Capital, which produces a global settlement of all issues between the parties.  This Agreement has been submitted for approval, scheduled for June 22, 2010, to the Court presiding over the reorganization of Michael Beaudry, Inc.  In addition, Michael Beaudry, Inc. will thereafter submit a Plan for Reorganization for the Court’s approval.

Once both are approved, the Michael Beaudry companies (Michael Beaudry, Inc. and Centerstone Diamonds, Inc.) will emerge from reorganization and enter into the next phase of operations as a strong and vibrant company at a time the luxury market is demonstrating signs of recovery.

“We are delighted to complete successful negotiations with our secured lender and are preparing to exit Reorganization,” said CEO, Michael Beaudry.   “We have new lines of jewelry being introduced at Couture, have experienced promising recent sales and are continuing to work with strategic accounts and partners advancing our business model.”

“Although this has been a slow and difficult process, the resulting effects of reorganization will prove extremely beneficial for the medium and long term.  Over the past year, Beaudry has worked very hard and taken many steps to insure its continuing viability and prosperity confirming its collectors’ and retailers’ faith and support in Beaudry has been and will remain well-founded.  We look forward to the remainder of 2010 and with renewed excitement for 2011 and thereafter.

Michael Kogan, of Ervin, Cohen & Jessup, represents the Beaudry companies and can provide additional details about the pending legal proceedings.

Penny Preville Intros Four New Collections at Couture

June 3, 2010 – Las Vegas , NV — Penny Preville has launched four new collections for the Couture jewelry show at the Wynn Las Vegas.

The first is called LACE. Inspired by the beauty and femininity of lace, Penny Preville has transformed her favorite fabric into a spectacular new collection.  Amazing earrings, beautiful bracelets, bold right hand rings and delicate marquise shape rings are just a few of the remarkable pieces.  The jewels come in white, yellow or rose gold and diamonds.  Pearls, moonstones and tanzanite highlight some special designs.

The second is called TASSELS . One of Penny’s favorite vintage styles—1920s Art Deco—inspired the tassel collection.  “I have always loved the glamorous look of tassels and the way they swing when you walk—or dance,” explains Preville.   The capsule collection is composed of pearl tassel earrings and pendants and a selection of gorgeous white and black diamond necklaces.  It is perfect for glamour girls and beautiful brides.

The third new collection is named LEAF . A Ginkgo leaf earring Penny rediscovered in her archives got the designer thinking about leaf jewelry again.  The day-into-evening Leaf collection is the very definition of easy elegance.  It includes a gorgeous new diamond and gold rendition of the original 1979 Ginkgo leaf earring and several other leaf earrings as well as a stunning by-pass ring.

And the fourth new collection is SWEET P BY PENNY PREVILLE. Penny has transformed several of her design motifs—lace, leaf and infinity—into a small collection of easy-to-wear everyday bangles and hoops.  These fun pieces are the debut of Sweet P by Penny Preville, a collection the designer will add to seasonally.  “I wanted to make jewels for my clients and their daughters to wear when they are in t-shirts and jeans or just going out for a casual dinner,” says Preville.  Prices for this collection will always be priced in the sweet spot of $2,000 or less.
