My apologies if you've seen this but I don't think John sent this when I was off-line.
There is a video and the complete text of his report as well as the clip of Dave Cattoor that the NY times ran.

BLM Attempts to Confuse Federal Judge (You can comment at RT's site)
http://rtfitch.wordpress.com/2010/09/23/breaking-news-blm-reverses-itself-to-avoid-suit/
In what can only be described as suspicious timing, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM)has issued a new press release that now states public lands will not be closed as previously declared by the BLM and Department of Interior, now suddenly stating they are aware of public interest. We at Grass Roots Horse are not fooled by this latest version of the Bureau of Land Management's extreme gymnastics to prevent scrutiny of their actions and activities by our court system and the concerned public.
"BLM is yet again attempting to confuse a judge. Yet this time they at least create the documents before we enter a courtroom. What our lawsuit is about is real transparency and access, not some masquerade. The latest press release by the Bureau of Land Management is designed to create an appearance of something that does NOT exist. Our horses need to be viewed during the operations that our tax dollars pay for from the actual gather operations on a daily basis through the closed doors of long term holding. The welfare of our wild herds mandated by Congress to "humane" treatment cannot be left to the supposed experts that have been guilty of deliberate activities to hide their actions." states Plaintiff Laura Leigh.
A Complaint for Declarations and Injunctory Relief was filed September 22, 2010 in regard to the Silver King wild horse round up scheduled to take place beginning this month in Nevada.
