HOUSTON, (Horseback) - A major lawsuit challenging federal Bureau of Land Management actions has been filed in a Reno federal court. The litigation charges the agency violated the First Amendment to the Constitution by barring a freelance journalist, Laura Leigh, from covering BLM "gathers" in Nevada and other jurisdictions. The suit seeks injunctive relief and would hold the government in contempt of court.
