No Country for Animals, featuring Twyla Francois of CHDC, will be broadcast tonight on Global TV at 10p. Here's a bit of info we received from Shelley about the program. This link will also give you information.
Kevin Newman is co-producer, co-writer and narrator of this documentary probing the mistreatment of animals in Canada.
The program focuses on puppy mills where dogs are bred to death for pet stores, to trucks that transport horses and livestock bound for slaughter, going for days without food and water.
The program also profiles those brave people working to effect change to these conditions such as our own Twyla Francois who is the volunteer Central Region Director for the Canadian Horse Defence Coalition.
Twyla also is Head of Investigations for CETFA, Canadians for the Ethical Treatment of Food Animals, and prior to this was an investigator with Animals Angels.
