April Outreach Outakes
Victim Advocates Sarah Webb, Taryn Hobby, and Aleea Shaw pose with Executive Director Gina Costa and William Kellibrew at the Trauma Informed Care: A Change in Perspective conference held in Orlando on April 11, 2012.

William is an international advocate for peace and survivor of molestation, homicide, and domestic violence; he is the president and spokesperson for The William Kellibrew Foundation. At six, William was violently molested, and at ten, he helplessly watched as his mother, Jacqueline, and twelve year-old brother, Anthony, were murdered in their living room by her estranged boyfriend. William's life was spared; the killer committed suicide, but not before he had William beg for his life at gunpoint. In 2008, he told his story of tragedy to triumph on the Oprah Winfrey Show with Dr. Bill Cosby and Dr. Alvin Poussaint.

VSC volunteer Diana Oakley and victim advocate Stephanie Landi connect with Orlando residents at the Absolutely Avalon event on April 14.
Shown with Master of Ceremonies (and State Attorney) Lawson Lamar, Rhonda Wilson, Sarah Webb, Judine Tessier, Taryn Hobby, Stephanie Landi, Aleea Shaw, and Paula Cooke-Freeman attend the Victim Service Coalition's Crime Victims' Rights Week Breakfast. Taryn Hobby took home the honor of "Victim Advocate of the Year" at the event.
